Chef De Cuisine | Trendy Mexican Opening

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA

SALARY: $95,000 – $110,000

International Hotspot Group is opening its crown jewel in West Hollywood. CDC must have had at least 3 years within this position as well as proven experience managing a BOH staff of 25+ people. Experience in high-end Mexican flavors is a plus. Venue is impeccably designed, service is perfect, looking for a chef who can deliver the food portion of the experience.  

CHEF DE CUISINE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exemplary leadership to the team

  • Proactively managing costs and budgets

  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency

  • Maintaining proper ordering, inventory, and scheduling

  • Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Past experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Senior Sous Chef, or similar role in an 8 MIL+ restaurant — OR willing to consider Executive Chefs from a smaller 10 MIL+ operation 

  • Extensive exposure to working with steaks and grill temperatures

  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment

  • Previous experience in an all scratch kitchen

  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
