Chef De Cuisine | Trendy Mexican Opening
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA
SALARY: $95,000 – $110,000
International Hotspot Group is opening its crown jewel in West Hollywood. CDC must have had at least 3 years within this position as well as proven experience managing a BOH staff of 25+ people. Experience in high-end Mexican flavors is a plus. Venue is impeccably designed, service is perfect, looking for a chef who can deliver the food portion of the experience.
CHEF DE CUISINE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide exemplary leadership to the team
Proactively managing costs and budgets
Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
Maintaining proper ordering, inventory, and scheduling
Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
QUALIFICATIONS:
Past experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Senior Sous Chef, or similar role in an 8 MIL+ restaurant — OR willing to consider Executive Chefs from a smaller 10 MIL+ operation
Extensive exposure to working with steaks and grill temperatures
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
Previous experience in an all scratch kitchen
Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
